Do you want to learn the basics of macramé and make your very own dream catcher?
A warm welcome to this creative workshop in macramé with Julie at the Crystal Room.
During the workshop, you will learn the basic macrame techniques and knots as well as create beautiful objects and dream catchers that you also tie crystals into. The crystals and your entire finished object can become a magical interior detail, filled with your positive intentions and what you welcome into your life.
Julie begins with a review of basic knots and patterns as well as some tips and tricks, good to know when you tie.
After that, you can start designing and tying. Julie shows different pieces for inspiration and is on hand throughout the workshop to help you with the techniques and to achieve a beautiful result.
After the workshop, you take your hand-knotted creation home.
The knots and techniques you learn are infinitely variable.
Tying macrame is both meditative and therapeutic and, above all, a lot of fun. With your hands, crystals, organic materials, yarn and knots, you can create amazing works of art integrated with positive intentions and healing energy.
Material cost is added during the workshop:
A ball of yarn costs SEK 150. Enough for two dream catchers.
Calls the dream catcher, costs SEK 60-80 and is available in two sizes.
Julie has a selection of macrame material and yarn for sale in case you wish to buy and continue tying at home. If you want to buy crystals, a discount is offered during the workshop.
Bring: A pair of scissors. Nice to have one of your own. Fruit or some sugar if you need it. Feathers or other items you wish to adorn your dream catcher with.
