Myrrh is a resin extracted from the tree Commiphora myrrha, which grows primarily in the Middle East and Ethiopia. It has an intense yet soft and sweet scent of rustic wood. Myrrh is used for the cleansing of places, people, and objects, as well as for inner healing. The smoke from myrrh brings clarity in times of confusion and strength in times of trial. Myrrh also draws forth new positive energies. Together with gold and frankincense, myrrh is one of the gifts that the Three Wise Men brought to the baby Jesus.
