Faceted 5 mm pink topaz in gold vermeil setting
Magically brilliant pink topaz. Pink topaz is a heat-treated topaz to bring out the wonderful, clear brilliant pink tone.
The stone is set in silver with a gold plating called gold vermeil. Gold vermeil requires a base of 925 sterling silver (no cheap metals like brass) and a gold layer of at least 2.5 microns , which is five times thicker than regular plating. The gold in this jewelry is 18 karat.
