Alien Amethyst is a trade name for a rare variety of amethyst with hematite inclusions. This type of crystal belongs to the so-called Amethyst and was discovered in Hyderabad, India. It is known for its deep violet color, often combined with red or golden hematite formations. The crystals can also contain so-called phantom inclusions and special elestial formations that make them look almost extraterrestrial. Due to their unique appearance and special spiritual energy, alien amethysts are very popular.
Origin and appearance
Alien Amethyst is found in India and is therefore not a stone from space, despite its name. The name "alien" is instead used to describe the crystal's unusual and complex structure, which can look almost "otherworldly." The color is usually dark purple but can have distinct red, orange, or golden details thanks to minerals found within the crystal.
Inclusions and structure
Many of these crystals contain small amounts of Hematite. It is this mineral that creates the red, orange, or golden colors within the amethyst. Sometimes, so-called phantoms are also formed, which are internal crystal forms that show how the crystal has grown in different stages over time.
