Ema Eggs – the crystal's little window
Ema Eggs are beautiful quartz stones with a naturally matte and frosted exterior and a polished, clear window through which one can gaze into the crystal's interior. They are also known as Seer Stones, Window Stones or Dreamer’s Crystals.
The name Ema comes from the Portuguese ovo de ema, roughly "ema bird's egg," as its shape resembles the egg of the South American rhea.
Ema Eggs are found in clear quartz, rose quartz, amethyst, and smoky quartz, among others. In crystal tradition, the polished window is used for meditation and reflection, and the stone is associated with intuition, inner insight, and dream work. Ema Eggs – a small window into the crystal
The Ema egg is like a little secret from nature. The exterior is softly frosted and almost completely closed, but on one side there is a polished window where one can gaze into the crystal's clear interior. Perhaps this is why Ema Eggs have long been associated with intuition, stillness, and inner reflection.
Amethyst Ema Eggs carry the calm, meditative energy of amethyst. Through the small window, one can let their gaze rest and be reminded to sometimes pause, listen inward, and make space for their own thoughts and dreams.
An EMA egg in amethyst weighs 50-70 g
