Raw fluorite crystal octahedron
Fluorite crystal, octahedron occurs in this exciting form completely naturally. Fluorite comes in several different shades of green, some may even have a bit of blue and purple in them. Since this crystal is a natural material, they all come in different shades. These are not sanded or polished, but a little rougher around the edges.
Fluorite is the only common mineral with four directions for a perfect geometric shape. This "perfect" shape combined with the fluorite's crystal structure allows it to look like this.
Good to know : Fluorite crystals belong to the crystals that are a little "softer" with only a 4 out of 10 on the Mohs hardness scale. Therefore, they are extra sensitive to shocks and scratches.
