Obsidian Aurora Borealis, tumbled stone

Obsidian is essentially a volcanic glass. This variety is electrolytically treated with silver, causing it to shimmer like the aurora borealis in all the colors of the rainbow.

Black obsidian from Mexico treated with titanium, which creates a new type of stone, "Obsidian Aurora Borealis," as the titanium penetrates and forms a compound with the obsidian's atoms.

The crystals are 2-3 cm in size and weigh approx. 15 grams
