Turquoise bracelet, 8 mm beads on elastic thread
An incredibly beautiful bracelet with round 8 mm beads in turquoise from Africa. The turquoise is naturally speckled in color with greener, bluer, darker and lighter areas.
African turquoise does not have the same mineral composition as turquoise and is therefore not what we normally call turquoise. African turquoise is a type of jasper (a type of quartz) and is harder and more wear-resistant than turquoise. The African turquoise comes mainly from Namibia, Congo and sometimes South Africa.
The bracelet is made on elastic thread for the ultimate fit. As this is a natural material, the beads may differ slightly from those in the picture!![]()
