Turquoise green agate candle lantern
All the lanterns are unique in their shape and can therefore vary in size. The sizes can therefore vary between width and height. There are differences of up to 4-5 cm in some cases.
Agate discs or agate lanterns with color (like this one) have been given their color by being dipped in a dye bath that penetrates the crystal. This technique has been around since time immemorial to bring out the agate's unique pattern. The white fields consisting of white quartz remain uncolored due to their harder structure.
