Prasiolite / green amethyst
In the deep green of the earth's whispers, a stone with the heart of the forest's breath is born - prasiolite, green amethyst. An echo of the past, a reflection of what has been, but above all a guide to what can be. It carries a whisper from Mother Earth, a song of transformation and quiet strength.
Prasiolite is not just a stone, but a protector of the soul, a bridge between the security of the root and the blazing life of the heart. It creeps into your aura like the first rays of the sun through a misty dawn, gently but relentlessly. With each breath, it allows you to transform darkness into light, worry into peace, fear into self-love. It gently guides you through the shadows you have carried, whispering that you are strong enough to let go and dance more easily through the winding paths of life.
Like a jewel born from the depths of the crucible of time, it nourishes self-esteem and allows you to shine in your own splendor. It is wealth, but not just of a material kind – it is a wealth of heart, of possibilities, of inner peace. Prasiolite reminds you that what you seek outside is already within you, that happiness is a flame that is lit when you breathe in your own truth.
It has traveled through centuries, through fire and stone, to now rest in your hand – a friend, a guide, a silent voice that says: you are worthy of all good, you are the creator of your own light. Place it close to your heart, let its soft greenery merge with your soul, and watch the world open up to you, like a flower at the first light of dawn.
Prasiolite is a rare variety of quartz that gets its green color from inclusions of iron. It was first discovered in the early 19th century in Poland, but most prasiolite on the market today comes from Minas Gerais, Brazil. The color can range from light to dark green depending on mineral impurities.
There are many synthetic varieties of prasiolite, often created by heating low-quality amethyst to alter the iron particles and give the stone its green color. An estimated 90% of prasiolite on the market is synthetic.
