Gua sha is a Chinese massage tool that has been used for centuries. It has been used to improve muscle stiffness, blood circulation, and lymphatic drainage. These techniques boost the production of new skin cells and the body's energy flow.
Use: Start at the inner corner of the eye and sweep across the cheekbone, out towards the hairline and temple, massaging lightly. Hold lightly with the opposite hand as you make the movement to stretch the skin. Repeat this sweeping motion, using slow strokes. Don't stress through the movements, breathe deeply into your lungs. Feel the weight of your new Gua sha and how it moves over the skin. Let the tool do the work, you don't need to use extra force. Light to medium pressure only!
Repeat these movements over the forehead, cheekbones, jaw, under the chin and eyebrows, even the neck if you want! You pull your Gua sha from the inside of the face and out towards the hairline.
Care instructions: Wash your Gua Sha with mild soap and warm water. Purple amethyst can also be charged with sunlight, moonlight, Sage, Palo santo or sea salt.
