Large shield pendant with a blue kyanite in filigree silver

An oval, deep blue, cabochon-cut kyanite with a silver setting is set in the center of the shield. Around the stone are small thin plates in silver. Outside these there is a band of small silver balls in several triangles or in pyramidal formation. We don't stop there because another row of silver balls frames the whole piece!
